RPM Random Pool Manager
DOT Random Selection & Consortium Records

Defensible DOT random selections, without the monthly software bill.

Run scientifically valid random draws, produce auditor-ready selection certificates, track results through return-to-duty, and assemble your annual MIS data — built for collection sites, small TPAs, and consortium operators. It's pay as you go — you're only charged when you run a selection — but your records are free forever.

Every new account opens in a free practice sandbox with a seeded demo pool — no card required.

Built to survive an audit

Every selection is designed around 49 CFR §40.321(b) defensibility — the draw itself is reconstructible from stored data.

Selection engine

CSPRNG random draws

Each pool member receives an operating-system CSPRNG random value; members are sorted and the top N selected. Equal probability every draw, drug and alcohol drawn independently per §382.305. The algorithm text is stored on every draw event.

Artifacts

Selection certificates & print packs

Auditor-ready certificates with pool snapshot hash, RNG method, and performer identity. One-click DOT print pack for the whole program file.

Records

Pool & result lifecycle

Roster changes, notifications, completions, cancellations with reasons, refusals, return-to-duty and follow-up plans — all logged to a tamper-evident audit trail.

Reporting

MIS data assembly

Annual DOT MIS report data (49 CFR §40.26, Appendix J) computed from your actual testing records — laid out to mirror the federal form.

Rates

Agency rate schedules

Current-year minimum random testing rates per agency built in, with per-company overrides and a documented reason required for additional draws.

Operations

The rest of the office

Donors, companies, appointments, test forms, MRO review queue, invoicing, equipment and training logs — one workspace for a small testing operation.

How it works

Create your accountYou start in sandbox mode with a seeded demo company and a 12-driver practice pool.
Practice safelyRun draws, print certificates, explore every screen. Practice documents are watermarked and free.
Go live when readyYour first pay-as-you-go purchase switches the workspace live and removes the demo data.
Run your real program2 tokens per selection event. Your records are free forever.

Pay-as-you-go pricing

No subscription. No per-driver fees. Tokens never expire — a typical 10-driver pool spends about 8–10 tokens a year, instead of the $2,400+ a year conventional TPA software costs.
